History of KKNM 2014

Conference background

KKNM 2014 is an international conference, devoted to micro and nanomechanics, held in Poland every second year in July. The conference brings together engineers and scientists from both academia and industry from across the world to discuss recent progress and future in the nano- and micromechanics. Applications in electronics, nanotechnolotechnolgy, biotechnology, photonics environment and life sciences are also discussed in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere.

Conference structure

The conference will start with a welcome reception on Tuesday 8 July. The technical sessions will be held from Tuesday 8 July through to Thursday 10 July, with the meeting closing at the end of the afternoon. Invited presentations featured by a number of internationally recognized experts are foreseen during the technical sessions. Accepted abstracts will be assigned to oral or poster presentations, based on recommendations from the Program Committee. The planned length of presentation and discussion is 30 minutes for invited papers and 20 minutes for contributed papers. A key feature of the technical program is the poster session that includes invited and contributed papers. There is only one poster session, but posters will be displayed for informal viewing throughout the entire conference.
